My Lectric XP has been a nightmare. Defective out of the box. Company 100% unwilling to help. I promise I am no Karen. I am like the nicest, easiest going person. I regret that purchase so much!
The people I drink with at the park have these and love them.
Good deal. I bought 2 of these over a year ago for 999 with the comfort package. The baskets are well built but the seat is not worth upgrade price. Much better off getting a seat of your choice from Amazon for $30.

Folding is clunky and heavy but it is nice when you want to take them to a certain location and toss in your suv trunk or hitch carrier. Folding hack is to stow them in the large Husky tote with wheels so they are easy to move and stash as needed. I'm 6'5 250lb and this has gone 29mph. The step thru model is better for taller people considering the pedals are lower.

I'm waiting for Buzz doing 25% coupon again.. the centris for $600 isn't too bad.
Mine arrived broken. Contacted them for more than a week with no reply. Disputed with my bank cc. Terrible company, once they sold you the product they won't care anymore.

I have a 2.0 and 3.0. Lectric just sent an email saying that they are going to upgrade everyone's mechanical disk brakes to hydraulic disk brakes and upgrade the software for the 3.0. Like they are going to send out new brake kits. Pretty dope thing for them to do.

What's a good use case for this bike? Anyone use to commute from home to a train? Wondering how easy it is tow around a station.

If you're deciding between the XP 2.0 and the XP 3.0, just know that Lectric recently announced a few days ago that all new XP 3.0 bikes have been upgraded to hydraulic brakes without a price increase. (and free hydraulic upgrade kits were offered to previous 3.0 customers as well)

Yeah was going to mention that but unsure. XP 3.0 is $999, 2.0 has been $799 ever since 3.0 came out and not sure how they up the price to make it look like it on sales.

Lectric never have a good sale, worst than Apple Black Friday. I would've gotten their Xpedition if they give any decent discount at all.

After doing some research, looks like the step-thru's pedals sit lower than the regular version.

I spent a few hours looking at alternatives, but for the quality and features, Lectric brand seems to be the best value around. Also, some people may not need the XP 3.0. I'm considering the XP 2.0 (non step-thru). I mainly want it for casual rides and perhaps putting a bag on the rack for random photography outings (we'll see if this happens).

Given that summer is starting, I don't think we'll see additional sales until Thanksgiving.

Definitely not for train commuting....it weighs 70 pounds so cannot tow around a station....steps...forget it!

I have a second battery and swapping out the battery is cumbersome since it's so heavy and take some gymnast moves to keep it steady.

Despite that I love my 2.0....best bang for the buck!

Correct pedals are lower so have to watch out for sharp turns. However getting off and on is a breeze due to the step thru design.

Thanks! What about Jetson Bolt Pro?
I have ST 2.0 and Bolt Pro...no comparison. ST will blow the Bolt away in range and speed.

Bolt I look like a clown riding a mini circus scooter...but folds away small put in car trunk and 35 lbs only.

ST...heavy but extremely capable. I also ride my off road on dirt trails etc...no issues.

Had a xp 1.0, sold it for my cost sadly, it was very fast for the $ and the big tires were fun. Didn't have a problem in 200 miles. Rode and shifted nicely. I found the styling to be a little dorky.

That's interesting. There must be a lawsuit out there some where to do this.

I didn't receive such an email, when did you buy your 3.0?
