Folding is clunky and heavy but it is nice when you want to take them to a certain location and toss in your suv trunk or hitch carrier. Folding hack is to stow them in the large Husky tote with wheels so they are easy to move and stash as needed. I'm 6'5 250lb and this has gone 29mph. The step thru model is better for taller people considering the pedals are lower.

1) It's powerful for the money. Unlock the speed limiter at your own risk.
2) Buy the regular frame, rather than the step-thru. The regular frame uses a far more common battery end (so you can use a generic extra battery or larger capacity battery if you want) rather than the step-thru. The stepover height is not that different between the two.
3) It's bulky and heavy, and discourages you from wanting to fold it. If you need to repeatedly fold it all the time for commute purposes, etc. you'll dread it everyday. Plus, if you have any problems with the motor, you'll hate riding it without the motor assist.
4) Braking is severely lacking given the bike's weight and even more so if you unlock the speed limiter. Pathetic 160mm discs combined with cheap calipers and pads. A minimum upgrade you must do is 180mm discs all around and better pads with 203mm disc recommended in the front. Switching to hydraulics in addition to larger discs would be even better.
5) Lighting - to be seen only, not to see at night.
6) Keeping the key in the frame while riding is annoying.
7) Power delivery is very on-off. Yes it's a cadence sensor, but some bikes are tuned better than others. Yes, I've adjusted it in the menus, but still jerky. This is where torque sensors and mid-drives really shine.
8) Very cheap drivetrain - expected at this price. You'll have to adjust frequently.
9) Fat tires make it impossible to use a bike rack on the front of a bus, assuming you were strong enough to lift the heavy bike onto the rack. If you get a flat, you're walking.
10) It's impossible to fold if you use any accessory baskets. Should have just bought a non folding bike at that point.
Again, this bike is decent for the money for recreational purposes only. For commute duty, you'll want something built better. I guarantee it.
Here's the video of the 3.0 review from HoboTech. And it came out before the brake upgrade, and that was a big complaint from him.

-hydraulic disc brakes
-integrated back frame part
-better freewheel (so you can actually pedal the bike at higher speeds)
Probably best to wait for a better sale/black friday if you can

You won't get any support from the company once the bike is shipped. Mine arrived broken and after many attempts to contact them, they ignored. Currently disputing with my credit card to get my money back.
Centris bike I got seem very high quality and the motor works. I just couldn't pedal because of broken part.
Bike Lock, Mirrors, Phone Mount. Package ships in June, sent separately.
Includes the XP 2.0, XP 3.0 as well as other models.
Rode twice now, and our family is loving them. We went out for what seemed like 1.5-2 miles yesterday, but when I checked my strava app (Only had it on to measure how much distance we went) was shocked to find out we had ridden 8 miles around town. Didn't break a sweat and got the whole family outside to enjoy the weather.
Those asking about child seat, yes you can attach one. I attached a Hamax Caress from Amazon [amazon.com], quick and simple and my 15month has no problems (so far) riding in it. Oh and missing out on the hydraulic brake upgrade? No problem, firstly Lectric has already made a waitlist [https]and will be releasing official kits for 1.0 and 2.0 (3.0 customers get it free). But even with that, I went on amazon and bought a hydraulic upgrade kits and have already upgraded my bike and my wife's bike within 30 minutes. Quick and simple and still got to enjoy the nice riding season.

Is it customary for the E-bike manufacturers to say, can use in light rain, but if you get caught in heavy rain, it will likely fail, and you are on your own during the storm, and don't bother calling us,when it is broken. Getting caught in rain will not be covered by warranty.
I don't have an e-bike, and I am curious if I ever will. Are there any manufacturers who stand by their e-bikes even if users get caught in rain?
