I ran these as my fronts in a 5.1 system for about 5 years and really liked them. I've since replaced them with the Motion 40 towers and moved these to my other room for 2.0 duty. For this price, they are a great deal. Do lack a little low end but that's to be expected and didn't bother me at all.

These are a fantastic speaker to listen to. They are non fatiguing, really good mid-range balance, they do movies and vocals well and at the same time music sounds great. These are far far better than any other speaker I know at this price

I just went in store to see a "satisfactory" speaker and it was just the speaker with no grill or box. It was a little smudged up booked looked functional. Your mileage may vary.
