For the majority, you can play solo if you want. There's still quite a big community out there for this game, even after 5 years.

I still walk around div 1 just to appreciate apocalyptic new york, which really just resembles trash days in Manhattan.

Thanks OP... I held out buying The Division 2 base version, and I believe the last sale for that game was priced at $5 some years back which I passed up on. In for one and the expansion.

Work fine either solo or coop, Dev team promised there is another DLC next year despite the game going to 5 year old. Also word of advice, this game pretty unstable in PC.

Both are awesome games , I played Div 1 for years then finally bought Div 2 and played that for years as a matter of fact still play div 2 . Right now Iam finishing Red dead 2 and will go back to Div 2 . The single player mission alone is worth playing in both Division 1 and 2 . If you are into 1st person shooters grab them at these prices they're a steal !! Tons of playability , so many different missions and challenges !!

This game is awesome! I own it from pc & ps4. It's very addicting, and there is a ton of stuff to do in the game. It's definitely worth getting for this cost.

Yes, you can absolutely play solo. However, it's more enjoyable with a group. At the start of each mission you have an option for "matchmaking" which will team you up with other players. Great game, recommended.

This game is very fun. However after you complete the game, it gets repetitive. They basically reset all the quests/control points. However if you like to grind for gear and mess around with play styles it gets really fun. Very fun to grind and play in groups. I still play it with my sister and brother in law often.

Except it still uses the Ubisoft launcher, albeit more in the background.

If you are playing on the Deck, I'd recommend setting your iGPU VRAM to 4GB in the BIOS and turning off the Ubisoft launcher overlay (you have to do that in Desktop mode in the Ubisoft launcher settings, just like on PC). My stability went from sometimes 3-4 crashes per play session to none at all.

Its cheaper to buy the base game (DIvision 1) and then the season pass instead of buying the Gold edition.

This game was great despite all the criticism at the time. I enjoyed the Dark Zone PvP, survival and the wave/ hoard mode they implemented (I forgot the name). I would like to play this again but the amount of time required to acquire high level gear dissuades me. For a first time player it is certainly worth it. I may get it just for Survival.
