It's always 2799 dude. I have been eyeing on it everyday waiting it to be back 2499 but never happened. If it ever went to 2899 that is for only a couple of hours.

I don't think 2799 is a deal... if it drops to 2499 I might consider it, but too bad bh cancels orders and no 5% card.
If Amazon goes to 2499 or even lower like in 1999, I will scream and get it.

I just purchased this. I chatted with them and requested them to price match the previous $2,499 daily special and they did with no issue. Make sure you select Space Gray as they will only go $2,649 on the Silver (I am guessing they have many more Space Grays?).

I have the identical 16 in version (M1 Max/64gb/2tb) but I want to try a smaller laptop and the M2 doesn't seem to have really any benefits.
