I know- I wish I could wait. I have a feeling they are getting ready for a bigger discount or another gift card deal, but it's getting boring sitting in my living room looking at a blank wall so I pulled the trigger.

Some people have Best Buy gift cards/credit. I worked for Walmart for many years-would never buy a TV or computer there. They bounce a few times coming off the trucks. bounce

The 65 inch version of this TV (2021) was like 298 a few weeks ago. I am watching it right now. Make sure you update fire tv several times. Mine took down around 4 updates to get it current.

I did the open box on the 65 and bought the 3 year warranty. You should buy the warranty anyhow so I would jump on that price.

I will never buy a TV packaged with FireTV as a built in OS. Slow FireTV performance compounds any issues. Last 32" I had ended up being a spare room TV and even then was the last TV in the house I'd use if needed.
