Anyone have any luck using the "MAY" code on any Gel Excite 9s? I can't get the code to take.

Only works on the ugly colors.

I don't think shipping is free unless you spend $50.

I was after one pair of venture-8. $39.
Checkout showed shipping for a member at $5 vs the non-member $10.

Title should prob add (Free shipping over $50) or just copy the wording on the banner on the top of Asics page.

Running shoes are never good for tennis. No lateral support, the sole has 75% or less of the surface area and harder rubber meaning less grip, especially on clay. Asking for an injury.

I picked these up on a previous deal. They're comfortable enough for light exercise, but there's no upper support reinforcement -its just the padded cloth all around, even in the rear by your ankle, which means slipping them on is only achievable if you tie them loose enough.

I probably wouldn't recommend these for any activities which require intense side-to-side motions given the increased likelihood to roll your ankle since there's no support.

There are multiple types of shoes in this deal - which ones did you get?

The mesh cloth seems to easily tear where your pinky toe is. Bought a pair on a deal back in November or so, now there are holes in both shoes where the pinky toe is. Don't recommend them.

Make sure you get extra cushioning models, the regular cushioning is pretty meager

This is the way.

Once you play Tennis wearing actual Tennis shoes you will realize there are significant differences. Basketball shoes are the only other shoe I might use to play Tennis.

I'm particularly fond of Asic's Gel Dedicate for tennis. I presently use the Gell Dedicate 7. Most of the time, you can find them around 40-45 dollars each when they go on sale

No. But I have seen them used as getaway sneakers in store robberies.
