Fabrics has just single A ratings. Very, very, very low speed crashing. You want at least AA.

Sizing is a bit off on these (per the reviews on Revzilla https://www.revzilla.com/motorcyc...d=10092495 ) but may work for me. They recently came out with a v.2($169) "building on the original with the help of customer feedback".

I'll be getting the Level 2 D30 hip armor ($35) https://www.motorcyclegear.com/st...armor.html if I get these.

Anyone with experience in riding pants please weigh in.

Thanks! Some of this motorcycle gear is honestly great for being out in the woods. My SAR team encounters rough wooded terrain with lots of pokes and this helps. Postet

I'm a big fan of my Icon Anthem 2's. They ran a little small but the touch screen fingers work well and they're comfy.

I've also used Alpinestars Stella Air v2 and find them comfortable and easy to break in but the touch doesn't work as well as the Anthems

Lastly I've used the Scorpion EXO Vortex Air, which I ordered an XL after finding most gloves were running a little small and they fit the best right off the bat. The touch on these gloves work consistently after you know where to touch, but not as "all over" as the Icons.

All gloves were comfortable after breaking in, but again ran a little small. I would say they were all about even in terms of how much breathability they had while riding and how sweaty my hands were by the time I reached my destination. I've (luckily) never crashed so can't speak to that

It wouldn't be $99 then, would it?

sizing is way small on theses FYI. also cannot throw on over boots or shoes, deal breaker for me. I ended up paying way more for the olympia air glide 6 pants but they are insanley easy to get on and off so ill actually wear them

LS2 all day everyday. insanely comfortable and best in class safety ratings. Drawback is that they are hotter and bulkier then "mesh" type gloves

I need Ignition pants to go on sale. Those are OK but not a fan of polyester for protection.

Never ordered from this site. I'm assuming they are reputable? Anyone have ordering experience?

Oof literally just bought pants for my girlfriend and I this week. If anyone has recommendations on mesh style gloves I would appreciate some tips. I've historically been the idiot riding the touring HD with little to no protection but now am finally waking up after having too many friends get hurt (and my girlfriend yelling at me).

They are a good source, with lower than average prices. Their sale prices will be hard to beat. Customer service is top notch and they have great reviews. I have no connection other than being a happy (and thrifty) customer.

For road riding, I recommend sticking to leather with a good amount of protection. I own a pair of held phantoms and they're stellar, but fairly expensive.
