I bought multiple pairs and wore them all weekend on a beach trip. No, the soles aren't "Hard", they were perfectly comfortable. Do people like you just come shit on deals that you klnow nothing about as a pastime?

I've found the strap fit to vary from sandal to sandal of the same size. The origin of the problem is the strap length and the length from left edge to center (toe strap) and right edge to center. If the left/right strap proportions are off, the sandal rotates on your foot and your heel isn't centered on the sole.
My solution was to sort through multiple pairs at the store and find a L and R sandal that fit properly.
I have narrow, low volume feet and the straps fit me reasonably well, so I believe some of the others posts complaining about fit on wide feet.

Agreed. Picked mine up today and the only negative I would give them so far is they are a tad on the smaller side. But it's a sandal, not a shoe, so I don't plan on walking miles on them at a time. I can also confirm the soles are not "hard" either. And yes, people like them love to shit post.
I ordered 2 pairs of these. One for myself (male) and one for my son. Both were too small. The foot bed was almost the right size, but no way either of our feet would fit into the straps. They are called unisex, but i think they are made for women.
Thanks OP. Just an FYI, free shipping for REI members. I previously stated that it was free to join. My mistake as another SD member correctly pointed out that it is $30 to join.
it is 30 bucks to join but they often times run promotions that when you join they give you a 30.00 gift card to use on a future purchase. I got a hammock, joined waited a week and used the gift card to buy the straps for the hammock which were 30 bucks.
Looks like the size correlates with the women's size but that the women's size is wrong as well. For instance, if you order a size 10 it comes as a W10/M9. One of those numbers has to be wrong because women's sizes are typically two sizes larger so it's closer to either a W11/M9 or a W10/M8. It sounds like they just 'split the difference' and called it a unisex size so my guess is that a 10 is a W11/M9. Good luck.

I found this out the hard way. Ordered size 10 online, and when I received it it was Mens Size 9, Womens Size 10.
Strangely, the other wide-strap flip flops are the other way: Size 10 = Mens Size 10, Womens Size 11.
?????
