If I buy open box excellent does that still come with the full warranty including burn in protection?

$1549 open box excellent 1 left at local store. Pulled trigger. Nervous.... Lol. Hopefully I didn't make a mistake.

Bestbuy has had this deal or a similiar price on and off for the last month or so while the LG B3 is no where to be found on their website. They are clearly trying to get rid of these.

I've been holding out for the 77 b2 to drop to 1700/1800. It's been a couple months waiting to see if it'll happen. Thinking I might bite at this price now and be done with it.

Now to decide if I should shell out the additional $425 for the 5 year geek squad coverage on this.

Given people have posted deals of the c2 77 for this price or lower its still a hard pill to swallow for me

I've felt the same. But a lot of those deals are in store (Costco) only. I haven't seen any b2 or c2 deals lower than this online for delivery anytime recently

I bought two 48" LG A2 TVs that were open box certified excellent for less than $500 each. They both looked brand new with less than 70hrs on them. They're still working flawlessly after months of daily use.

I bought a 65 Lg gx that was the floor model. It has 3300 hours on it, but came with five year full coverage including burn in production. It's been two years and the tv still works like new.

Is that the 5-year burn-in coverage warranty? How much does that usually run?

I just picked up a 77" C2 open box which was the floor model for $1880. I originally went in for an open box B2 for $1500 but when I saw the C2 for $1880 I immediately pulled the trigger. The original warranty is one year with LG which doesn't cover burn in. I got the 5 year BB warranty which does cover burn in. I was told that since it's under LG's warranty for the first year I would have to deal with LG with any issues. If I happen to get burn in the first year and LG does not fix it, I guess I'll just wait until the BB warranty kicks in.

A2=60fps and no variable refresh. Basically good for movies, bad for new gen games.

B2=120fps, VRR, all the bells and whistles with two HDMI 2.1 to take full advantage.

C2=the same as the B2, with two more of the HDMI ports being the 2.1 and it's got a slightly faster processor.

That's how I've read into it anyway. Being a gamer the A is a no go. The B is a decent bang for the buck OLED, and the C is what you shell out for if you need every port to be the full beans version.
