Though once loved, most Chipotles have fallen off in quality. Corporate mandates tiny burritos now, half the size as before, but still $10+. Customers are viewed as the enemy. Serious problems with morale and keeping employees. Corporate customer service is handled by AI, not a real person.
This. It's annoying to have like $2 left on a gift card and not be able to add another one on until you finish that card.
My wife and I have separate accounts, and we text each other a screenshot of the other's gift card and keep in the photo roll. When one card runs out during a purchase, we use the other's card screenshot to pay the remaining balance.

My local Chipotle has been open Monday-Friday, 11-4 for well over a year. They just can't staff it (with the wages they pay).

We apologize, but we're unable to complete your order at this time.
Our Chipotle is still thriving, always busy when we go to pick up. And portions still seem close to what we used to get. I wouldn't call them miniscule. As for declining, it's the best performing individual stock I have owned and I still own it.
You had a good ride. Good time to sell. Get out before the collapse of this company in 1-2 years.

Agree all Chipotle's in my area have gone to crap after pandemic. I have stopped going there, they are usually out of stuff or not well prepared. Qdoba on the other hand have seriously upped their game. Even though it is a couple $ more expensive I prefer Qdoba now.
After watching multiple gift cards from reputable sources poof on me, I'll never get Chipotle gift cards again. Also they expired my free burrito for not going there for a few months. Took my business to TacoBell
