Interesting idea but most or all light sockets, I need an actual light. Maybe if they can somehow combine both? I imagine it being difficult.

Just curious as where are people putting this ? Inside the house? It doesn't make sense to put it under the glass enclosure outside. What use does it have indoors?

When I purchased it, it was cheaper.

And when I wrote the comment I was led to believe this item had no LED lights, but later in the thread I was told that it does.

Also, I believe the camera in this deal doesn't support RTSP which is essential for my security needs, and a lot of others.

As for the camera, I haven't compared both images so I'm not sure.

Returned this one because unable to control only one bulb and socket is upward. If those two issues can be resolved, probably it is worth of trying.
