Maybe you could use something like this - to convert the socket into two usable sockets...

Interesting idea but most or all light sockets, I need an actual light. Maybe if they can somehow combine both? I imagine it being difficult.

I purchased a couple of similar cameras from another vendor that supports onvif. They work well, with the exception that they will not work on a 3-way circuit. Something to consider.

So I initially thought the same thing but then light and camera would both have to be on and off at the same time? unless you use a smart bulb and keep the socked powered at all times.

I have not had good experience with this camera. Yesterday the camera worked well enough so that I would have recommended it today its a whole different story. Going to return this.
