Here is the manual. It seems the 7.1 surround sound is only available for PC with the adapter. You can use the 3.5 headphone jack on Mac, PS4, PS5 and PC for stereo sound. I have this headset and really like it with my PS4. It's well made, comfortable and good stereo sound with my PS4. I have 7.1 headsets like the Razer BlackShark V2 wireless, but happy to play PS4 with my HS65's, too. I think this price is a good deal. Manual: https://manuals.plus/corsair/hs65...und-manual
