I would used to recommend this. Rest assured, you will eventually have to replace this because it won't work as well as it did on day one, for one reason or another. But ring had a great warranty when you're a subscriber. However, I recently ran into an issue with this floodlight (inconsistent motion detection) and they made excuse after excuse about how it's operating "normally", thus not offering a replacement.

Buyer beware.
Ring is a scam company who makes every excuse not to honor warranty with legitimate problems and they make you go through hours of stupid troubleshooting before they'll even consider sending a request for more help to a higher tier. It's disgusting. I suggest you just buy any ring items at Costco so when they break down and or you have a problem you can just return it and get a new one.
Trick is ur device doesn't connect to wifi so u can't trouble shoot😂..had for 4 yrs plus with security..never had issues getting replaced

I agree, I would not purchase anymore Ring products. I had 2 seperate flood light cams where the led drivers failed causing the light to strobe randomly. I found an instructables showing how to change out the leds for lamp sockets essentially fixing the problem forever.
Ring told me it couldn't be fixed and I needed to buy a new light, knowing this was an issue with many others. At this stage in the smart home game there are far better and cheaper options that don't require any subscription.

Ring has replaced 3 of my cameras…it was fairly straightforward.

I do have 29 installed…most are 3-4 years old.

Last one wouldn't connect to WiFi and they replaced it.

My last one wouldn't connect to Wi-Fi. I called them up and they replaced it with no issues. I was still under the 1 year warranty tho.

29 cameras? Are you paranoid or are they really out to get you?

Ring has been great to me too. They sent out an wifi extender just so i could get better coverage. I have 3 ring floodcams and just ordered another one from the woot deal. 3 ring doorbells and 3 ring stickups. It's not too hard have a lot of camera's to protect your home.
