I wonder if we already own one of the games in the giveaway if it'll throw off the formula for making them free - i.e. own game 2 so can't "purchase" it again in order, so can't get game 3

If you already own the free game of the day then you're done for the day, and will not have any problems getting the next day's game.

Just login to your Nintendo account and click on the link to Pandemic Shooter in the OP. If you have one of their games in your library then it will automatically come up as free.

Once you log into your Ninten account and go to the game, it will either be free or you pay. If free, then you own a previous game. YAY

Smarter play would be to buy the least expensive game in their library, Rawr-off @ $2.99 or Nonograms Prophecy @ $3.99 or any of their $4.99 games (I'd suggest paying the extra dollars for something you might actually want to play), then get two games for the price of one.

Yesterday's game is now on sale for $1.99, so if you missed it or didn't have any of their games, you can pick it up. Then you can claim the rest for free. That's what I did on their 12 Days of Christmas sale last Christmas.

Nevermind, looks like an age gate was stopping me, not the maintenance. Says i already own apparition, apparently. I've done these before & have never played any of these games for than 5 minutes, lol

that's not how it works. you need to own pandemic shooter at this point to get apparition for free. Only yesterday would any of their games have counted.
