Buddy, you are completely missing the point. This rebate is for NEW customers only. New customers *literally* have 0 worries if they've ever bought the product before *in their life*, let alone bought it and 'submitted a rebate that they forgot about 10 years ago'.
It's not hidden. It's literally in the *first sentence* on the rebate page...
You bought the product before. You literally already do not qualify, whether you already claimed rebate in the past or not... 👀.
They are not hiding anything or trying to pull one over on people. It's right there up front.

"Participation in previous Dr. Elsey's Precious Cat rebates or refunds render you ineligible for this rebate."
Who the hell can remember if they did a rebate 10 years ago?
What weasels. HUGE likely scam. I've NEVER seen a rebate offer like that. I foresee much whining from people when they get denied. Especially when the company couldn't get their shi* together before they rolled it out last time.
HARD pass.
I mean... It's for new customers... If you've actually never used the product before you shouldn't have to worry about if you submitted a rebate to them in the last 10 years.
If you have tried the product before and just want to try to game the system, then rolling the dice on your memory is a risk you'll have to take

The COMPANY is trying to game the system. I've done hundreds of rebates for many thousands of dollars. Even the most dodgy never had this requirement. I've bought Dr. Elsey's before on deals (and it's crappy, by the way) but I have no idea if there was a rebate on it.
It's a weasel move to do this. Good luck! You'll likely need it.
I'm not touching this with a ten-foot pole.

Do they send a physical rebate check? I didn't see any option for deposit to PayPal or anything like that.
For those concerned about getting denied, just don't open the kitty litter until you get your rebate, you can always take it back to the store for a refund if the rebate is denied

That was my plan. I got my cat (first cat) in Aug 2022. So I know I never submitted any rebate for this. If they tell me I don't qualify I'll return it and never buy this brand for being shady. And will get some bad word of mouth press.

Dang, who downvoted me for submitting a factual post of what their website said so that others would be aware?
