These are some of the best guitars out there for the money. Just an FYI, the Quilt Maple and Transparent Bocote are $499, not $479.

Not the best deal in my opinion. These were selling in excellent condition for less than 400 last year. If you rationalize your purchase by slickness this is not a winner.. if you love the guitar go for it.

I bought a bocote last time around. It's an ok guitar. The top is an extremely thin veneer. The back is also thinly dyed. I chipped the finish removing the cavity cover due to tight fit and it's pretty visible despite being small. I tried installing a dtuna on it and the bridge height doesn't allow enough clearance. I've seen a few others file their dtuna down, but I haven't bothered to do it yet. Am I happy with it, yeah, but I see myself selling it down the road. The price was right, but I expected a bit more based off the normal pricing.

Where does one even look to find these types of deals? For example, it you just go to the Andorama website it does not show the guitars at this price, but it is clear that the links and lower offers are valid.

I asked that question as well and these prices are off a news letter and there is a bit you can add to the URL if you go to the site without going through SD. I think iconian will have it.......

They are great playing guitars, but the neck on those things isn't for me. The body makes it feel like a short scale neck for some reason.

Bought one on eBay a while back for about $300. Ended up selling it on Craigslist. Not sure if it goes for these but I was not a fan of the reverse toggle switch. As small of an issue as it sounds, it just annoyed the hell out of me that up was bridge pick up and down was neck.

The pickups/bridge is further to the end of the guitar…the scale is the same but the neck is shorter and so yes it does end up feeling a little different. But good.
