My analysis of the deal. Compare this to the Ryobi Days offer of purchasing a 3-pack HP battery pack (2AH, 4AH, 6AH) and a brushless tool for $199. You'll lose out on the 6AH battery, but you'll gain 3 extra brushless tools, and a light. You'll pay an extra $36 for this update which is worth it, IMO.

During Ryobi days they also have a pair of 4ah batteries along with the charger for $99( or lower with the hack) but these are NOT HP series batteries and won't give you the extra power. If you are using them to power the flashlight or fans, they will be fine.
If my calculations are correct, your regional/store shows a 2-pack 6Ah battery for $140 for you to see the $295 pricing on the 5-tool combo. On the flip side of the equation, you actually have a *better offer* in my opinion because you'll be able to acquire the 2-pack 6Ah battery for only $103.64. That's less than $10/Ah on HP batteries which is exceptional pricing, especially on the 6Ah battery which is remarkable on its own right. That battery packs 150% more Ah in essentially the same form-factor as the current 4Ah battery. Consider yourself lucky if you want the 6Ah batteries.
