This or Lowes which comes with lid and cover for $298?
I have the larger version of this with both the lid and the cover. The lid *should* not cost over $100 more, but maybe things have changed. The cover I have from Blackstone is really high quality and sufficient in lieu of the hard cover.
How did they even make this without a lid in the first place? I'm definitely looking for one, but that really confuses me how people are storing these lidless models outside without a horrible mess.
The natgas conversion kit is only $40, so I have to factor that in, but it's not terrible compared to the $100 that a lot of grill kits cost.

Agree, in no way should this be bought with at least a lid or a cover.
Even a cover seems like it would pool water, plus you'd have to wait for it to fully cool first. If I'm cooking dinner, I don't want to remember to go back outside an hour later to find sauteed cicadas
Got this when they had the cover griddle combo for 179, it's a great griddle for our family of 6. You can scoop the hardcover off Amazon for half off, just check the warehouse deals. My hardcover had a slight bend which any monkey with half a brain can bend back to normal, and wallah. Planning on upgrading to the 4 zone down the road but for now, this one is great

IIRC, I got the $50 lid not long after the griddle purchase. Covers are cheap. All in all, w/ the 'griddle accessories' I don't think I hit $275 let alone $300. YMMV of course
Love the unit. More than enough cooking surface for 2 people.
