I ended up buying this umbrella with the Sunbrella fabric when it got posted in the other thread. A few home depots in the Chicago area have them in-stock so you can pick up in-store. Quality seems pretty good. Much better than other umbrellas I've seen in store for this price. Going to compare to the $600-$700 Costco umbrellas next time I'm there. Overall this is a very slick deal.

I just bought one and it says in bold right on the box Sunbrella fabric. This is from the home decorators brand. I also bought the aluminum lounging set which also had sunbrella cushions. It seems they offer quality products at reasonable prices.

We took our Forrester instead of the Y, glad as the box is very long. We ended up needing to fold back the passenger front seat and removing the head rest to accommodate the box. Couldn't remove the head rest in the Y. I think it would have a hard time sliding in between the front seats to fit.
Get the GX for sure

Just got mine setup with the sunbrella fabric. Took 2 of us about 25 minutes and we were being slow. Easy setup for sure! This is a killer deal, I wasn't sure when I bought it, but now that it's setup this thing is a heavy duty beast and it's a killer price. As others recommended, we just set 4, 50lb bags of playsand in the base which made it even easier.

Bought several locally, had to go to the stores as all of my online orders were immediately cancelled

Found 4 in red and 3 sand.
None were where they should have been in the stores, I had to dig around to find them.

Quality is good, especially for the price.
The two 110-lb sandbags they came with are gonna be much easier to deal with than a single 220-lb sandbag, which is what I was expecting.

Great deal OP

It's huge, it fit in my GX but rested on the front seat arm rests and made it difficult to see out of the passenger side to check the mirror. Fit between the captains chairs.

Thanks.

Didn't realize the fabric on this one is different.

Ordered one for delivery.

It didn't, fits like a glove between the seats and stays put on the armrest

Can we use water instead of sand? I know sand is heavier but I'd also like the flexibility of moving it in the future

I bought the same item and agree on the quality being good relative to the price. Anybody have any hacks for how to add wheels to this? Like has anyone tried a dolly or dolly wheels and have a link to ones that work? I would love to put this on wheels before adding all the sand. But I have little kids and stability is important.
I got 4 2-in caster wheels from amazon, attach them to small 3.5x4.5 blocks of left over wood floor and zip tie them to the cross bars using large 18-in zip ties (2 per wheel). Also had to add some wood planks to cover the bottom of the base so the sandbags don't drag on the ground. It seems stable with the umbrella fully opened. Not pretty but it'll do for now until i can find a more permanent solution at a reasonable price.

Thanks for this information. Do you have links to the wheels? Or better yet, pictures of the build?

I bought 3 yesterday for in store pickup. Still in the boxes in the garage with the 700 pounds of sand.
Any reason to buy sand vs just filling with water or dirt from the yard?

No pickup around me. So coming out to $304 after shipping. Is that a complete deal breaker?

It fit in our 2022 RAV4. I have to say. Super happy with this purchase. Just don't forget the 4-5 bags of play sand.

The bags aren't watertight. If you fill them with water it'll just leak out the seams.
