I am seeing some potential misinformation by users here. I'm unable to locate a past product in which there was ever a 10" model. Perhaps yes, the outer casing is 10" but the blades themselves are 7.5" for both current and past models. Please note that the current offer here is for a new release 2023 model that's been upgraded with the whisper series tech. If you view the infographic attached, it actually has more CFM than the PCL811, and slightly lower airflow speed.

In regards to the 12" air cannon, https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../319381034 , this model is for hose use only, not compatible with bucket use. Nothing in the images indicate it has the "misting button", which is essentially a pump that would make it work with a bucket.

Per the video review I found for the prior model 7.5 misting fan PMF01 @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-2De_MhtAk around the 10:30 minute mark, it's shown that attaching a hose works because the pressure from the hose forces water out of the brass misting nozzles. However if the hose is dropped into a bucket, nothing happens unless you actually turn on the "misting button" which essentially turns on the pump.

Also if you check the Q&A on the product page for the 12" air cannon misting fan, someone asks specifically if it can be used on a bucket, and Ryobi support responds that no, it's not compatible.

Edit: Just responding to another comment, but so much thread-crapping and/or misinformation. Not sure why that's happening so frequently these days people posting bad information. While the video review above is regarding the older model PMF01 @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-2De_MhtAk at the 12:30 minute mark, the guy claims he got around 4 hours of runtime with 1 bar left on a 4Ah battery. If you pay attention to the setting he used, it looks like he utilized the high mist setting too. I can't imagine a newer model would have drastically different runtimes.
This is a high quality comment. Thanks for that.

Thanks OP. Ordered one set with a $15 off $100 code. My personal coupon code is about about to expire on 6/1.

Not according to the description or YouTube review.
Do you have one with the bucket attachment. It says nothing about including one.

On the 12" model you can still drop the hose hookup straight in a bucket, you don't have to hook it to a hose.

Thanks OP for both the deal and the post with a bunch of clarifying info. I'm in for a set. Been looking for a deal on the misting fan for a while, and $50 each is pretty darn good, especially since this is via HD and the other deals were from DT. I don't live near a DT and shipping kills some of their deals for me on single items.

The extra fan will be a good Father's Day present for my in-laws. And mine will see plenty of usage during the beach vball season!

A 4Ah battery will provide around 15-20 minutes of run time. And, no AC power. Big pass for me!
I have one I put 18 with 7.0 ah last about 8 hours on high off of a mail carrier I put a 5 gallon bucket with a 3 gallon bucket inside of it, put some foam in it, freeze some waters on a hot southern day. It's a lifesaver.

In all honesty, I have this and yet to use it over a year. I've tested it and works great. Just never found a good reason to use it.

I mean it does wonders if you're sitting in one spot and cooling down like in the pictures. But I'm almost never just sitting in one spot outside. Lol

It's great for outdoor sports on a hot day IMO.
Set it up by the volleyball net, in the dugout, next to the track, etc. Perfect for a quick cool-down so your players don't overheat.

Little kids love it too obviously.

Had to use one overnight due to transformer replacement on our block. On non misting low setting my 4H battery was down to the 3rd light after 7 hours

Hey, I'm a carrier too I was considering getting this for the same reason, mind sending a pic of your setup? I like the idea, 80+ degrees with no wind can get brutal in the truck all day.

Absolutely not true. I've run it for several hours at a time on 4ah.

Not true. I own the 12" cannon expecting it to do this. There is no pump on the 12". It requires the pressure from a hose or separate pump to mist.

Agreed, 4ah with mister will run for at least 4 hours.

We have used (the older version) during summer baseball games. The only issue is player's getting their batting gloves wet. These are great.
