Just say NO to these mediocre screens that lenovo refuses to give up on
I don't buy the high MSRP with integrated graphics. Seems way high.
ThinkPad list prices are always grossly exaggerated. Regardless, this is an ok rather than great deal - it is a Zen 3 APU, but the screen is 16:9 and not that great, the E series is entry-level for the ThinkPad series, and at 3.5-3.6 lbs it's heavy for a 14-inch laptop. Some may have the $100 off $500 or 15% Amex offer, which would make this a better buy.

For what it's worth, I was in a contract gig at MSFT for a while and it was basically vendor on/off boarding. Out of all the machines from the vendor companies that gave us issues, the E series Lenovo were terrible. It was always a fight with failure to power on, failure to charge, weird audio driver issues... I would sooner guide someone to buy a used W530 than a new E series...

You're getting a ThinkPad for $650 with a decent cpu.

They can't possibly stay in business if they had to squeeze in a high brightness, quality IPS display for $650?
