There was an 64GB Open Box-Excellent available for pickup for $385, great deal for a M1 iPad. Check the various colors for availability on Open Box items since they're all separate.

It's not a contradiction. Computing power can be used for tasks that aren't storage related and the effectiveness of those cycles is increased because of the hardware and software synergy which the Android devices can't offer.

Also it doesn't matter who is buying 64gb. Someone either is or is not.

I just ordered the M1 Air 256G in open box condition for $495. Check the different color options to see what other discounts you can find. Mine is pink but it's going in a ZAGG keyboard case so who cares.

I used to unquestionably trust BB and their "Open Box - Excellent" devices until my recent MacBook Pro 14 purchase. It was shipped to me. I opened it and turned it on and up came the previous owners login. BB didn't even TOUCH the MacBook before reselling it. With someone else's account and locked to their Apple ID, it's useless to me. Wound up having them PM Amazon and got a new one for the same price. But still, it was a hassle.

In any case, BB trade in of my iPad Air 4th Gen is $240. $405 for an Open Box Excellent Starlight makes it about $200 after tax. Seems worth it, right?

Really? That's interesting. I've always had BBY either refund me the difference or give me a new charger. The only time they won't is if they don't sell the part separately in the store. If they tell you no, I would speak to a manager. I got $300 refunded on an Open-Box Excellent TV that had no accessories.

I've had my iPad Air 5th for about six months. I paid $400 and don't regret it.
I have a laptop for work and use my iPad for bills, notes , media consumption email, etc.
the main reason I made the purchase was the display support.
As noted the lack of 120 hertz is the only knock but it's not necessary for me
I've got over half my 64gb left. I expect more updates this year with the iOS thanks to the M1 chip. I had a iPad Air 2 last me over 7 years and still got $80 for it
