I wouldn't call these an "emergency kit", more like an owie or boo-boo kit. An actual emergency kit should have emergency sheers, packing gauze, tourniquets, CPR mask, eye wash, blankets, vinyl gloves, etc..

Imagine running up to a six car pile up with this kit in hand, lol.

Shouldn't it be?

- One forty-five caliber automatic
- Two boxes of ammunition
- Four days' concentrated emergency rations
- One drug issue containing antibiotics, morphine,
vitamin pills, pep pills, sleeping pills, tranquilizer pills
- One miniature combination Russian phrase book and Bible
- One hundred dollars in rubles
- One hundred dollars in gold
- Nine packs of chewing gum
- One issue of prophylactics
- Three lipsticks
- Three pair of nylon stockings.

Agreed. This is better than nothing but lacks a lot of actual emergency essentials. It does remind me though to go over our first aid kits and make sure they're up to date and that everything is in good and usable condition. And the best emergency kit is probably one that you make yourself based on your medical needs and those of the people likely to travel with you, and includes not only first aid but emergency supplies and items like flashlight, water, food, tools, money, etc.

I still see the 20% coupon.

Also, save an extra 5% when buying four (one for each car, I guess)?!?!

Don't even need all of that...

When I was a kid, all we had was Robitussin. Whatever you got, Robitussin better handle it. I broke my leg once, daddy poured Robitussin all over it.

Let that 'tussin get in there. Let that 'tussin go down to the bone! If you run out of it, put some water in the jar, shake it up, more 'tussin! MORE 'TUSSIN!

Agreed. This is more for parents to take with them to playgrounds, vacation, etc for random cuts, scrapes, etc. Of course, you could create your own and probably save a little money, but having this kit that you can just grab and throw into a bag or suit case is really nice to have.
