As for the build above, it's a good deal. Processor and GPU is around 500 alone and it comes with a warranty. Most people like convenience.

ie what I would love to build this weekend:
ryzen 5600g $170 + b550 $90 + 32gb ddr4 $60+fractal atx case $60+600w psu G+ $60+1tb nvme ssd $40
that's $480+tax, etc.
W11 you can migrant from a current install tied to your account, or there are plenty of ways to get a copy inexpensively.
this build above has no 3060 but another rig could easily be specced for it, and I would recommend the amd cards. I want this rig because I want a low power machine that is chiefly work but can play during breaks and is low power/noise.

KBM is dirt cheap and most already have it from existing system. Windows is also free for many due to a variety of reasons, not least of which is MS's own pathway for free w10 upgrades, etc.
I will not dispute that on paper it will be very hard to beat the lenovo but in actuality you get far more in terms of build quality, upgrade path, etc. and it's so easy and fun to do. you also learn a lot. id be glad to help anyone who needs help.
