This is a nice computer at a good price. Does any one of you can upgrade the CPU to the 13th gen Intel?

In order to replace the SSD to a bigger size, the driver will have to be cloned, right? In order to transfer the windows software, right?

No if you install a fresh copy of whichever OS it has it will pick up the key.

This is not bad but computers are so easy to build these days that you really ought to. Heck, any number of nerds here would be happy to spec out a computer for you if you just state a budget limit. like me they are probably always building rigs in their heads anyway.

ie what I would love to build this weekend:
ryzen 5600g $170 + b550 $90 + 32gb ddr4 $60+fractal atx case $60+600w psu G+ $60+1tb nvme ssd $40

that's $480+tax, etc.
W11 you can migrant from a current install tied to your account, or there are plenty of ways to get a copy inexpensively.

this build above has no 3060 but another rig could easily be specced for it, and I would recommend the amd cards. I want this rig because I want a low power machine that is chiefly work but can play during breaks and is low power/noise.
Might I recommend r/buildapc

As for the build above, it's a good deal. Processor and GPU is around 500 alone and it comes with a warranty. Most people like convenience.

You forgot about the CPU and cooler. That's another at least $120 if you go with Ryzen processor (~$90). Puts you at $600, keyboard mouse and Windows bring you close to the $699.

I got this from the previous thread with the exact same deal. So far it's been a solid pc, and the bloatware hasn't been as bad as I was expecting. Needed a new rig for Diablo 4 and I'm hoping this will handle that without issues, 1080p 60fps on high but not extreme detail. Now I'm looking at monitor deals to try to hit 1440p/100 fps lol.

Ryzen 5 typically include Wraith Stealth coolers which are seemingly sufficient, but I would still opt for an aftermarket cooler

The ryzen cpu & cooler together is $130, as specified in my build above.
KBM is dirt cheap and most already have it from existing system. Windows is also free for many due to a variety of reasons, not least of which is MS's own pathway for free w10 upgrades, etc.

I will not dispute that on paper it will be very hard to beat the lenovo but in actuality you get far more in terms of build quality, upgrade path, etc. and it's so easy and fun to do. you also learn a lot. id be glad to help anyone who needs help.
