This SSD costs $9 in my Walmart @ Lewisville,TX (online is $29).
I got the last 2 in that store, but probably there are more in other Walmarts.
It comes with a USB3 to SATA adapter, a serial key to download some cloning software, and the SSD.
With the adapter I was getting about 450mbps (read).

I occasionally see inventory appear on the shelf even though I was certain they had run out. Maybe it was stored in the cage and suddenly it's found and put out for display

After a month on Craig's List it didn't sell so the employee returned it.

Something that works is ordering online, and once you get it you go to the store and ask for a refund. Then you buy it at the store's price with the same customer service person.

if they let you do that. The target I used to work at customer service would refuse to let people buy it back on the spot.

Bummer, the one local Walmart in my area with the $9 price has none. Another local store has 3-4 visible in the cage, but the price is still at $49. I will check BS once in a while to hopefully catch the $49-->$9 price drop at the store with stock (if it ever happens).
