IMO this is the best Blackstone to get unless you really want the nicer hood. I have this one and love it. I got it on the Walmart sale right around this price.

Thanks for clarification. I've been waiting two weeks for some hot griddle deals. But I want a hard cover and I'd rather not have to pay extra for wind guards. Hopefully labor day deals pop up.

is there a huge benefit of a hardcover if you have a nylon cover for the entire grill?

i understand i can't cook with the hardcover on (and i have a soft cover and a silicone mat - in my excitement over my new grill i got all of the fixings) ... and i personally find the walmart version's hardcover a little cumbersome to take off and hang off the back ... it consistently deforms my aluminum drip liner.

I bought a 36" Blackstone from Walmart for $197 last October. It did not have a cover. I quickly realized that I needed a cover, paper towel holder, and utensil hooks. I spent about $80 to get those things added. Knowing what I know now, I would not buy a Blackstone unless it had all of those things.

terrible deal. this is 299 all day. blackstones were hard to find in 2021. Not any more.

You only need a hard cover if stored outside in the elements. Helps keep water off. Look on Amazon, the one I bought is sturdier. Various prices on this type
