Horrible advice. There's are loads of reasons why people should still be buying these. Just because a new spec is out, doesn't mean anything at all in terms of what you SHOULD be buying.

Buy what you need, buy what your machine is capable of. There are TONS of PCs that are only capable of Gen 3 still. It would literally be a complete waste for someone to buy a Gen 4 drive for their machine, if it isn't capable of using it.

Not to mention, for the vast amount of users, they won't notice a difference in daily usage.
This isn't good advice. 95% of users won't notice any difference between a PCIe 3 and PCIe 4 drive. Reviews and benchmarks mention this all the time. Reviews for PCIe 5 drives have been talking about this issue a lot.
My motherboard is PCIE 3.0 and won't be upgraded for years. Let's waste money on speed I'll never use.

This is Gen 3.

For anyone curious, this won't work in a PS5. The PS5 requires at least Gen 4.

everyone should be buying PCIE 4.0 at this point in time since PCIE 5.0 exists

I have this drive in a PCIE 3.0 system I paid $0 for. Hope you profit as much as I will when you sell yours.
