I don't understand how subway functions now-a-days. These deals get publicized but every major city location near me tends to never partake. But if I want to drive 40mins into the middle of farm country, they will honor this deal.

Sucks this is so hit or miss.

I think they accept coupons to get people in the door. See the loss leader post. I don't mind Subway but it is not great. I will never buy a sub for full price. It is like $14 or more. I can get a large pizza and have left overs for the next day for that. You can usually find a 599FOOTLONG code and get one for $6. At that price it is worth it (or if you have a couple people and are doing the buy one get one free thing). I think their prices are out of control for what you get. I also have an issue with the tips thing that someone mentioned. I will give a +20% tip to all of my waitress's that serve me food and bring me drinks at my table. If I have to wait in line to buy something, I am not giving a tip. I think corporate America is taking advantage of this tip thing by telling people you will only get minimum wage but you get tips.

I would never get Subway without a BOGO offer, way too expensive at retail price. I have heard people saying some stores don't accept them but I have tried it with 5 different locations here in Minnesota in the Twin Cities and they all have accepted it so maybe it is certain states where they aren't accepting them.

Yeah, hopefully, their food cost on a $10 foot-long is around $3(but crazy since Covid) and they would still rather sell $6 worth of food for $10 vs nothing. Hoping as well for additional sales of chips, drinks(especially drinks) etc.

I just started going to Subway recently and I actually enjoy their hoagies. Couple weeks ago my brother gave me a coupon for Subway. I went up and they told me they accept coupons but not for stuff on the green board. Lame.
