It's "on sale" because prices keep falling (the only people saying otherwise are selling something). Unless you need it right now, skip it.

Not 100% sure if this was a had to get deal. I know the 6800 xt is 530 right now. Cost per frame for the 6750 is around $2.89 and seeing 6800 is about $3.10. I mean of course I'm still trying to figure out if I should keep holding off to see if anything else comes out. 🤷

I bought this the last time it was on sale but quickly canceled after learning I would need a 750w PSU which goes for over 100$ right now. still haven't seen a PSU on sale since.
650W is the recommended size for Power Supply. It all depends what you have in your system.

Have a feeling these will start selling out now that the 4060ti reviews are out.

This seems to be the sweet spot. Around $300 with 12 (or more) GB of VRam

Haven't seen reviews but everyone saying the value of these next gen cards is bad due to same, barely better, or worse performance for the same price as last gen gives me a gut "harsh truth" feeling that you're right. Discounted prices at end of gen followed by worse value next gen and repeat it seems. Seems like the best time to buy were the 1000s and hard to get 3000s.

Hoping amd doesn't follow suit seems like a fantasy since it seems like a duopoly. One redditor made a good point about how nvidia and amd can afford to price high since they have the budget and besides them two and intel, so far there's no real competition. If they can make more money elsewhere and cut down on gpu manufacturing then prices would be even worse.

Yup this was my exact rationale in skipping the 6700xt and deciding on the 6700 also. I don't really want to buy a new PSU and like you said, I have not seen any sales or good pricing on a 650+W PSU in recent weeks

Probably the best value GPU right now, only upcoming card is the rx7600 which will be worse and have less vram as well.
Those probably gonna be sold out soon.

I have a Red devil 6900XT and Ryzen 5900x running on a Corsair 750W Gold fine, I think even a quality 650watt would do. The high recommended wattage by GPU companies is to cover their asses in case something happens.

As someone who paid $480 from AMD direct for a 6700XT 18 months ago, this hurts but also something I'm glad to see.

You need a quality 550w unit. But yes PSU are over inflated right now.

Seeing as how the 4060ti is DOA with 8GB with a $400 MSRP, essentially it's an "almost playable 1080p card". The 6700XT has been the best card to get for this price range for the last 6+ months. And the 16GB 4060ti is even worse price to performance.
