From the reviews it seems they're cheap because the bulb starts burning out after 3 months.

The Anker Nebula Capsule Max only has 200, and it's a pretty decent small / budget projector.

That being said, I don't believe a SINGLE thing I read/view about this projector. I might actually buy it anyway to try out - but there's no way it has these specs (especially native 1080p) for this price.

Yeah who knows but I'm in too. Need something for the hot tub, don't expect it to last anyway but $55 seems like a steal if anything about it is truthful. All the reviews say it is really native 1080P 60Hz which is extremely surprising.

I bought one regardless of the 3 months burn out issue. $50 is okay for a tryout. Will see how it works.

I bought a $70 projector from them about a year back. It is 1080p. I tested it with low light videos that band out at 720p.

This is indeed, true native 1080p.

For a different WeMax (Wewatch) projector comparison, I also tested 1080p and it passed.

How one for 2 years now, only a few hours of use though as it's more of a niche use item.

There are tons of reviews around SD for WeWatch budget projectors. You'll find that universally, 99% of folks with negative reactions do NOT own or have ever used one of their projectors and 99% of positive responses are from people that bought one and realized how crazy of a deal they are.

The 1% difference of those not happy and actually having first hand experience are folks that did not bother setting reasonable expectations.

I usually buy (amazon prime) and try to test. . Easy returns😙.

It's way too low to use in the traditional use case of a projector and expect a good quality image, but this is a $55 projector. If you expect the image to look a bit washed out and the screen size to not be a 10' diagonal and to not use it in a bright room, then you'll probably be happy with it. The people I've talked to who have these things use them to do things like watch movies when camping.
