These are very good for the price. Sound quality is notably much better than typical PC speakers although they won't give you the bass response of larger monitors. A couple things to note:

1. The volume knob moves in discrete steps rather than continuously. Doesn't bother me since I can always adjust from the source, but may bother some.

2. They don't seem to be very shielded against RF--I initially heard clicking through these speakers which proved to be interference from my nearby WiFi router. Moving it a few feet away solved the issue.
They are talking about the Pebble speakers by Creative. Not the Pebble company bought by fitbit.
