Makes me almost regret $1,549 512 gig one I bought from Costco. Oh well. I've gotten two months worth of use out of it so far which I otherwise wouldn't have.

16" from Costco was super rare deal, I tried 4 different Costco and no one has it available. considering that, this is still good price for Pro series as if you look at Apple Certified Refurbished for similar configuration with 512 SSD; they are selling for $1539 on Apple website.

I got mine and am loving it. Coupled with the 2 TB external NVME deals and Adobe Creative Cloud subscription deals I feel set. Just ordered an adhesive pouch and short flexible cables to mount the external drive nicely.

Now to create!

So I purchased the B&H deal for the M1 Max with 2TB/64GB and I'm wondering if this would be better for my needs.
I would mainly use it for video djing and some video editing as well as audio editing.
The box is still sealed so I can return it if I need to.

With the new 15in macbook air and the other released apple products from today is there any possibility the m1 pro 14 or 16 inch go on sales past this one? Something 1500 or under maybe even for a base m1 pro 14?

Those of you having trouble with the discount code, make sure you enter it (APINSIDER) in ALL CAPS. Entering it in lower case will NOT work.

Bummed that I missed out on the awesome deal on the 16" for a similar price (Costco). Normally, the 16" is $400-500 more than the 14", so it does feel like the 14" could fall further. But this deal does make up almost half of that difference with the 1T drive (an $180 option). I caved, thinking it might be as good of a deal as I'll get (as my current Macbook died and I need something pretty quick). Probably not, but a bird in the hand...

I'm not an expert but here's my two cents: considering this deal went frontpage and continues to draw upvotes and comments two weeks later despite an M2 pro deal (albeit with 512gb ssd) for only $150 more, I'm thinking this a good deal - especially since people are making a lot out of the fact that the 512gb ssd is slowing down the M2 pro in the 2023 model. I would have thought the newer processor would have made that the better deal, but it sounds like a lot of people want the larger ssd and the improved read/write speeds associated with the 1tb drive in this Adorama deal.

If anyone wants to comment about that B&H deal vs this deal, please do.
