$386.99 at Samsung.com with Edu discount (they don't verify for SSDs). Plus 10% cb from r me not. I also had a $25 gift code they sent for 100 days after registering a new Samsung phone, so I was able to order this SSD for $361.99 + tax directly from Samsung. Plus another $36.2 cb if it comes through, plus another 2% back from my CC.

All said and done under $350 out of pocket for an 8TB SSD is just crazy! I am sure I won't be happy when these drives are selling for $200 in a year, but I intend to fill this up with tons of photos and videos I already have, so at least will get some use out of it before prices drop.

Do they even make an 8TB EVO? QVO should be fine for using this as a backup drive, which is probably the best use of this SSD. For faster storage, I'd just got with an NVMe.
