The CRG9 replaced my 3 old 1080p monitors, entirely removed the bezels, and provides much better framerates and resolution than my previous setup. RTINGS gave it a 7.6/10 overall: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/re...49rg9-crg9
The CRG9 can do Picture-by-Picture (PBP), which is how I normally use it for my work machine. It has 2x DisplayPort 1.4 inputs and 1x HDMI 2.0 input. You can set up PBP in any combination of 2 of those 3 total inputs using just the monitor's menus, and you can split the screen into two equal 16:9 portions or one 21:9 and one 11:9.
The CRG9 has been below $750 a few times within the past few months. It's nice (120 Hz, 1800R curve, but bad local dimming) and it can replace 2-3 monitors.
The Odyssey G9 (240 Hz, 1000R curve, essentially the same bad local dimming as the CRG9) has occasionally been on sale for $700-$850, but is currently $945. The Odyssey Neo G9 (240 Hz, 1000R curve, mini-LED) has occasionally been on sale for $1151-$1200, but is currently $1440.

I was about to order the G9, then saw this and ordered for home office use. No gaming.
Edit: I wrote TN panel before, just realized I mean't VA.

The work laptop is a Lenovo T480S.
I use this for both personal and work using a USB switcher. I plug in all the peripherals to monitor (headset, mouse, keyboard, web can) and then split it out to the two devices. You can do PbP (picture by picture) and have both devices showing and then just hit a button to switch between the two and the time it takes to switch is basically instant.
