The Hampton Bay rocking chair that you have provided a link to is made a wood.

In other words, it will require maintenance, like sanding and painting, when the paint starts to chip, flake, or wear off.

I would not recommend the Hampton Bay rocking chair over the Polywood, which will not require any maintenance, other than cleaning.

I just purchased 4 of the Polywood rocking chairs to replace my 3 year old wood rocking chairs, which all have paint missing, some with wood damage, and they all could use a repainting...

No comparison. The wood ones will ALWAYS chip and peel and need sanded/repainted every couple years. They are throw aways. The Polywood will last a lifetime. Clean yearly (at least) with a pressure washer and some 30 Second Cleaner. This price is an absolute STEAL
