be warned these are minimalist, zero drop running shoes. if you know what that involves, you're probably fine choosing these. if you don't, you probably should look a bit into it before making a switch to them. I have a pair of their kit shoes and enjoy cycling them into my running routine, but you want to pay attention to how they recommend transitioning. Running is an inherent repetitive stress injury inducing sport, and a sudden change in movement, muscle use/strain, etc., without appropriate transition can result in you sidelining yourself with achilles/calf/etc strain or similar.

all that said, i like the line of shoes and may pick up a pair.

Anyone with wide feet (2E-4E) tried these and care to share their experience. I've looked into Xero shoes before but am a bit reluctant to go through the hassle of the returning them in the hopes that the wide toe box will accommodate my hobbit feet.

In for a pair. I exclusively wear minimalist shoes outside of running where I use zero drop Topo and Altra shoes instead. I've been wanting a new pair of minimalist shoes for walking, as I prefer to keep my nicer shoes for lifestyle wear. At this price, this will fit the bill for a new pair of exercise shoes.

Own 5 pairs of Xero shoes. They are good but I prefer the feel of my merrell vapor gloves or older trails gloves. Xero fit seems a little sloppier but good price

I like them for back squats too, but depending on ankle flexibility might need a plate under the heel or a slant board. I wear minimalist shoes for most workouts unless there is a lot of lunges or distance running.

Start light if you are used to a thick heel, ankle muscles might start waking up.

These look awesome, but I've moved on to Chinese rando m barefoot shoes. Nothing beats a damn near disposable slip on for me. Though I get years of if them.

I tried them over a year ago and they were too narrow for me in the toe box. The shoes that fit me best are Altra Lone Peaks. I'm usually 10 2E-4E and shoes tend to be too narrow for me across the ball of my foot or they cut in where my big toe still wants to go straight.
