Yes, these are 8th gen processors, the minimum gen that is officially Win 11 compatible.

I purchased the micro small form factor verison about 2 months. I was able to upgrade to Win 11 easily through the update settings. Low power consumption and quiet.

I was looking at this, was thinking about pulling the parts to put in a couple of the kids PC's to upgrade the 6xxx's they're currently running, but then I looked at the motherboard and it's completely proprietary, plus SFF means i can't even move the video cards they're using into this PC (580, 1650). /sad. Good price if you just need for light work/browsing.

Not sure why you would be interested in an 8 gen processor for that. You can find a low budget 12th gen i3 CPU and mobo that should be a much better upgrade for your kids PCs.

Plenty of deals for the MTs on the bay. They are often cheaper because everyone wants small. You can get a 5000 or 7000 series that will have higher max RAM as well.
