There's always a bunch of people like you in every phone post claiming the lack expandable storage as a big issue. It only affects the most fringe group; the overwhelming majority of people dont care about the lack of expandable storage and are barely affected by it, yet people like you parade your opinion around as fact. Why that far back? S20 series that were released in 2019 had it and Note 20 Ultra that came out at the end of 2020 as well. I'm not bothered much for them to take it away as much by how much they charge now to go up even by one storage level higher, it's very clear rip off if you consider how much external storage options cost right now.

I got mine the same way!!! and was able to do a trade in with my fold 3! Funny thing was just looking at how much storage I have left- only using ~128 of the 256 so plenty of space!
