These products don't "Expire" in the traditional sense, there are enough preservatives and chemicals that they will outlast most things in the universe. The date on them is a "freshness date" required by all grocery products, is a way to move old product and is more for the stores for inventory than for consumers.

Not true. You can start tasting the actual oil the chips were cooked with about a month or 2 past expiration.
