I've been using it daily 5 times a week for years without issue and totally recommend it.
Regarding the price I bought it for around this price years ago think I paid around $210 total including the charger. So that $399 previous price isn't real. Here is a link for a compatible charger so that you don't have to use batteries:

To answer some questions.
@Wagg if you buy some foam pads like this you will not disturb your neighbors with any vibrations.
I currently use a similar square pad this under the front and back of the bike and have no vibration issues:

@rly723 the distance of the bike pedals can be adjusted a lot so I believe it will work fine for someone who is 5'4'' as my sister used it while visiting who is about that height. Only thing I would point out as a negative is that it is kind of a pain in the butt to change the seat/pedal distance. If you see the picture the knob in the middle bar on the floor is how you change the distance. You have to loosen the screw and I find that I have to lift it up off the ground to slide the adjust it by sliding it further or closer. If multiple people are going to be using it, I wouldn't recommend this bike as it's a pain to adjust and getting the right settings back to place.
@daphatty Yes, it has an option for IFit, but there weren't any prompts for a subscription. Never even paid attention to how the IFit works on it. It has pre-programmed workout modes on it. Just pick one for weight loss or performance and select which week you are starting on, and it adjust the speed and strength variations in intervals which is awesome.
