It's an Acer, you are getting what you pay for. Personally, I would stay far away from this brand variances. Any company that tries to wiggle itself out of the warranty has no pride or confidence in the product. I'd rather pay a few bucks more and get a better brand. Different experience with Samsung, who replaced a monitor three years down the line, because that production batch had an issue.
1900 curve... Isn't that like really bad? I mean basically flat

3 year warranty, was there a problem with a claim you had on this monitor?
I don't understand why this deal is getting thumbs'd up, it doesn't seem like anything special. This is the curved 34" monitor that seems to be the favorite from RTings reviews.
His comparison wasn't valid. For business use, without gaming, this monitor has value, no?
It does. I am using for business, no gaming. Whatever I connect in monitor's USB ports work over USB-C which is also serving me display and charging my laptop, all over one single cable.

Is it true that you can't get to the highest HZ without using DP?
Delivery date is at least a month away for me. Did anyone get it sooner?
I just got this LG and havent received it yet-
LG UltraGear QHD 34-Inch Curved Gaming Monitor 34GP63A-B.
Curious if I should just wait for the Acer. Any thoughts?

Funny, I didn't have that kind of experience with Acer. I had bought a refurbished laptop, and they honored fixing it under warranty.

Depends on your need. If 160Hz refresh rate is your requirement for gaming possibly, then LG I suppose.
My must have was the USB-C with PD. I have everything connected to my monitor USB 3.0 ports. The only cable I have connected to my laptop is USB-C to the Acer monitor. My audio, video, USB devices, and laptop charging up to 90W is over that single cable. A lot less wire clutter and freed up laptop ports including HDMI for a second monitor if I desire. If your requirements are also as such, then I would wait for Acer; usually delivers sooner than Amazon claims to be safe.
