Brand new at Walmart for $99 this week if you're a refurb skeptic. Excellent vac.

We had a G30 hybrid model, but didn't find ourselves using the mop feature so I figured what the heck I'll return it and go all out on the X8.

My wife hated it, and I had a hard time accepting the fact that the G32 really did do a better job at vacuuming than the highest end Eufy model. Returned the X8 for this, and now everyone's happy again, and I got my $250 back.
So I have a 30C Max and a G32 Pro. Both run opposite days the same rooms.

I have a recliner, the front is lower than the back. I have a piece of 2x4 under the higher end so the robovacs don't go under and push towards the front and get stuck.

My 30C does fine and doesn't get stuck, but my G32 Pro will keep jamming itself past the wood and getting stuck, over and over, and over again. My 30C sees the wood and turns away but the G32 just keeps ramming into it like it doesn't see it until it's out of the way and jams itself under the edge of the recliner. Same with my coffee table, it's low enough it shouldn't be an issue and it isn't with the 30C but again the G32 thinks its shorter and will keep jamming itself under the table until it gets stuck, whether I stick something under there or not.

No boundary function is a huge con for me so I returned it and got a wyze lidar, soooo much better.
We've had ours for 6 months and our experience has been negative. It's low profile footprint is actually a drawback as it gets stuck under every couch we own . Additionally, it has trouble getting back home upon finishing if it's beyond a 10ft radius of the base. Suction/cleaning is just OK. Our 4 year Ecovacs Deebot runs circles around this thing. It won't go under furniture but it won't get stuck either and cleans ~50% better than the G32 Pro. Had actually opened a return on it but kept it around during a move and regret I had.

It's a bummer too cause we have Eufy Security products and they work great. Really wanted this to work as well but it's a dud.

Isn't eufy the company that was caught lying about peoples privacy and their cameras? Feels sketch to use their app.
Yeah, pass based on Eufy even if the price is attractive.

Just bought 2. Honestly for $60 with free returns makes it a pretty easy buy. Yeah it doesn't have LiDAR or all of the other features but it's $60 ($57 for 2).
$57 total for 2?

The G32 Pro is an excellent vac - have 3 of these with terrific results. Uses a phone app to schedule and control. A stunning buy if these arrive in a condition as nice as the ones from Woot.
Can this climb over thick rugs?

Will it eat my cables laying everywhere behind everything?

For what it's worth, the refurb G30 Verge is only $15 more and it has boundary strip recognition so you can "wall off" areas. It also might have a more intelligent mapping feature? Not sure. I got the Verge when it was $80-85 instead of the current $75 price and I'm loving it.

It's supposed to come with one boundary strip roll I think, mine didn't come with any but I contacted eufy and they sent me two rolls to make up for it.

Amazon isn't free returns. It has to be dropped off a stores that barely exist. Like amazon, khols, an ups store. Or it's expensive.
Amazon totally has free returns, do you expect them to come pick it up at your door?

So I never had one and don't know much about them, how loud are they? Can you watch tv while they are moving around?

Boundary strip as in something you have to lay across the floor?

Bought two as backup. I use them for mobile beer pong (they are on their own separate table with a physical border to "bounce" around).

yeah. It can be temporary or you can use the provided sticky tape strip things, or use your own. I'm just using them without taping them down personally.

Ours is awesome, but the battery (on a brand new unit) only lasted 5 months. They are shipping us a new one under warranty. I'd watch out on a refurbished if it doesn't have at least a 5 month warranty. Wink
