Just a heads up, the m17 is all metal while the m15 is plastic. If size isn't (too) much of an issue the m17 is a better machine.

Thats the better deal, the 12700h has faster single thread (gaming) and multi-thread, and also quicksync for video editing. Though battery life is slightly worse. Considering this is nearly 6lbs, id go with the i7-12700h build as this sucker is rarely leaving your desk.
