$100 for a plastic suit is not a deal and also not a good idea. You can get a wool or wool blend suit for a bit more and it will be a way better experience (in terms of style, durability, looks, and comfort)

Not sure how you got that I'm a fanboy from my post lampooning this deal. Did you start crushing Milwaukee's Best a little early for the holiday weekend?

My point is polyester suit can look decent if it fits nice and you have the body shape to pull it off. A fancy wool suit is not going to magically make someone look dapper. All the suit snobs here need to back off with the suit shaming.

Seriously. Who has a lead on deals for wool suits?
Just bought my rental off blktux. Nice suit, it was my second rental from them after my wedding and both showed no wear. I think without rental they're around 250. Lukewarm I know and might gross some people out, but decent for a wool suit.

Could use some advice.........I detest wearing suits and as such only wear them to funerals. I recently had major surgery to my back so my old ones don't fit anymore. I am slightly allergic to wool...itches pretty bad. Seeing that I don't wear them often...any suggestions?

It's not just a suit but doubles as raincoat

While I agree that a suit for $100 is probably not a deal (personally I think is likely a piece of junk) I don't agree with your "a bit more" statement. A decent wool suit (I would never stop to look at something that says wool blend) that is reasonably constructed would be $500 min. That's a a far cry from "a bit more". And a better quality wool suit is going to be $750-$1000.

A MTM suit from indochino with half canvas is easily available for under $400...so off the rack suits for around $200-$300 are definitely possible

Polyester is a plastic fiber, made from petroleum
Hundred things around the house, in the car, on the street, medicines, etc. are making from petroleum. Only the nut heads think we can get risk of all the petroleum within the next 10 years. Take a look inside Tesla and tell me if it can be made without plastic then.

Seems pretty straightforward - get a polyester suit like the one posted here

So I bought this suit from Macys as well as a Nautica suit which was the same type of slim fit polyester suit. I am a 42S and the Nautica fit and finish was way better than the Kenneth Cole, so I kept the Nautica and returned the other. The Kenneth Cole seemed not as well made and the pants were a bit stretchy, almost like sweatpants at the waist. In fact The waistband in the back even had those flex wrinkles like a sweatpant waistband... Looked a bit cheesy to me. They were both ~$120 about a month ago at Macy's. They run sales on these things suits all the time for prom and whatnot. If you're on the fence go look on their website since there were hundreds of reviews on polyester suits like this.
