It depends on the GPU. Most of the board partner (made by companies other than Nvidia or AMD) 40 series cards won't fit because they're too big for this case. You also can't swap it over to a different case, because the motherboard, case, and power supply are all proprietary. You'd also have keep an eye on your power limit, as 750W will be really pushing it close with a higher end GPU and a 13700k. The RX 6700XT is already a more than capable GPU, anyways. It's plenty for 1440p high settings. If I had a 6700XT (I have a 3080), I personally wouldn't upgrade it right now. Also, keep in mind that these cases are basically hotboxes, and will run hot and loud. Dell PC's are also intentionally made with proprietary parts to limit upgradeability, so customers buy a new PC instead of upgrading. The only parts that are upgradable are the CPU, GPU, and RAM. The motherboards BIOS is also locked down and will run the RAM at a lower clock speed if you upgrade the RAM to anything but the make and model of RAM that it comes with (to try and force you to buy the RAM from Dell). Slower RAM reduces gaming performance by quite a bit on Intel's 13th gen, so you don't want that. You can buy it elsewhere, but you're limited to a specific model of Crucial RAM. If your intentions are to upgrade, you're better off with PC's that use standard parts, like Lenovo Legion, CyberPower, etc. Or, you could build your own. It's really much easier than you would think. Picking parts on PCPartPicker, a few minutes on YouTube, and a Phillips #2 screwdriver is all you need. I built my first one when I was 14 with no prior knowledge before YouTube was really an option, and it only took me about 2 hours. It's just a handful of screws and everything else plugs in.

Downgrade memory to 8gb for 100$ less, use amex 120 off 599, 2 extra hilton points (amex offer also), plus your fav cb site

Edit: found a 5% cb via Citi cards (double cash card) so plan is to split payment for 599 to dell and rest going to doublecash card.
Also 6% Dell rewards for those who have Dell Rewards account.

Anyone know when the SAVE10 code expires? I'm holding off buying, thinking maybe comes this week memorial holiday, the cb from r10 might increase.
Edit: Looks like SAVE10 expires in an hour, 4PM EST 5/26.

Don't know if they have fixed the issues with the XPS line. I have an XPS-8940 with a 3060 it's been a buggy nightmare. I won't ever buy an XPS again because of this one. After 18 months of ownership I think they finally have patched it enough where it doesn't freeze up and have to be rebooted daily. I am now going on just over a week since the last lockup.
I bought for the SO an 8950 through Woot in late January 12th gen i7 and it has been fantastic.

This is great for non-enthusiasts that just need a PC to game or performs some sort of graphical work on a budget.

Obv slapping another ramstick & SSD would help but current specs will get you by np.

Make sure you re-spec to 2x8gb vs the 1x16gb for ram. No extra cost to it and a huge increase is memory performance.

unless you are planning on upgrading the RAM to 32GB, in which case, downgrade to 8GB, save $100, then buy the Crucial 32GB kit for $80 on amazon and sell off the single 8GB stick and save 200+ vs Dell's inflated price. (alternative is to keep the 16GB stick and buy another 16gb stick from Amazon but this is DDR5 memory and probably want to buy a kit rather than mix&match, even if same brand and same timing). With this kind of gaming desktop, i really dont see 16GB as being enough to run Windows 11 and play games at same time. The amount of virtual memory/pagefile required for 16GB will probably burn out the SSD quickly vs upgrading to 32gb RAM.

Be sure to check your AMEX / Visa offers. I had a 20% back on up to $1,500. Another one had $40 back on $200+. Check all your card offers - Dell is frequently there.

Does Dell actually take over a month to ship these?

Probably will come back with another coupon. Alternatively you can try the new customer subscription email coupon if they still give that out. It's in one of the other threads I dont remember which

Never been a Dell fan but this might have been the exception. Ordered online only to discover that according to Amex the Amex $120 Rewards didn't process. Cancelled the Dell order, called,Dell 6 times, agent promised the rewards in a quote to me, and was trying to duplicate the last order but now just 2 hours later the SAVE!10 coupon expired. Spent half the day trying to get this and finally threw in the towel since the two discounts that attracted me never materialized. Guess I'm still not a fan of Dell.

The amex reward has nothing to do with dell, so calling Dell was actually counter productive unfortunately. Sometimes with amex rewards, it does not show up immediately, so you just needed to be patient, especially in the case of the kind of orders that might take a month to ship, so Dell won't charge the full amount to your card right away, only a hold. The 10% probably come back again considering the holiday weekend just started, if it does you just need to order again and be patient. if amex doesn't give you the reward after order ships, take screenshot of your offer, then call amex to get them manually apply it.

for me though, I did get an email notification that told me I successfully used the offer from Amex, but the reward won't show up until the order is shipped and the hold becomes an actual charge. but like I said, there have been plenty of time I have used offer and didn't get email notifications and successfully got the offers without calling

Called Amex and they stated the issue was not on their end but Dells. Used the rewards link direct from Amex to Dell but the card approved on Amex was not approved on Dell. It was definitely a Dell issue and not an Amex one as the Dell purchase definitely stated the Amex card was not applicable when both Amex and Dell when called agreed it was.. Called Dell and had them duplicate the issue and they were stymied. Amex stated that when the Dell order was completed with the aid of a Dell Agent himself the rewards did not come through and that I would most likely not get it. So I cancelled it and by them the coupon expired as well. Being a holiday weekend it is surprising that a coupon like this would expire.

Yea you just don't want to believe my past experiences and probably alot of other people's experiences, and instead just insist the Amex offer didn't go through. Like I said, even if the offer didn't go through, after the actual charge goes on your card you can always dispute it with Amex. I have done that before, with Amex and chase, and the credit card companies would fix on their end. If you are going to be so impatient, nothing anyone can do for you, I have tried my best to explain

You are not reading my post. A dispute is just that a very risky and chancy after the fact effort that may not be approved. I prefer a given on the front end that when my order is placed that the reward is recognized and will be issued. The Dell site DEFINITELY stated the card was not recognized and approved for Dell's reward program. I didn't take a screen shot of it. Amex DEFINITELY stated that the reward would not go through if disputed when shipped as I posed that very question to them. This was not my first and only attempt to use Amex rewards as I have used them many times in the past. $120 is not an amount on a $944 purchase to risk not being received. This had nothing to do with being impatient but everything to do with insuring the Amex reward was recognized, redeemed and received.
