Please tell me if this is a good entry level bike. I bought the missus and I Beach Cruisers only to find out they really aren't for any type of hills. I'd like to ride around my neighborhood, possibly eventually on roads and trails.

The mountain bike seems like a decent deal if it really is aluminum and the features like disc breaks are quite hard to beat at this price. Would be hard to buy a low end good condition used bike for this much.

Depends what your definition of better is. Better deal- this one since it is much cheaper and will still get you from point A to point B. Better for just cruising around town- this one again because it has all you need for easy cruising for less than half the price. Better quality- Costco. Better for off road use- Costco.

This has all the things I wanted to add to my bike (fenders, kickstand, basket, thinner smoother tires) that it makes more sense to just buy this bike and sell the other. Or keep it....I'll prolly keep that bike too.
