Yep, this. Every time of these threads comes up someone points out how they somehow got it for free without realizing it was using the digital credits. "Promotional credits may be applied" is there for a reason.
Just went to purchase Beverly Hills Cop II and the price of $4.99 for the UHD version was crossed out and I was able to get it for $1.99. Maybe it's because I'm a Prime Member? Unsure as to why it came up that way....YMMV

I've almost been duped by this before. thinking I'm getting an amazing deal then realize it's automatically using my credits.

I rarely fall for it for movies since I usually have enough credits to make them free and that's suspicious (and I only look at the movies that are discounted already anyway), but sometimes it happens with Kindle books where I get excited before realizing there's $22 of discount applied. 😆
